On behalf of Dr. Miller and the rest of our Bellevue dental team—welcome! We’re so happy that you’re interested in learning more about Expedition Pediatric Dentistry. Our practice is committed to providing exceptional pediatric dental care for kids of all ages, and we would be honored to be your child’s primary dental care provider.
Regular dental visits are crucial for keeping teeth and gums clean and healthy. We recommend that kids visit our office at least twice per year for routine cleanings and dental checkups. Additional preventive services, like dental sealants and fluoride treatments, can further reduce your child’s chances of developing tooth decay. Dental sealants are thin, tooth-colored coatings that are applied into the grooves of molars to prevent harmful bacteria from causing cavities. Fluoride treatments involve applying a fluoride varnish to the front of teeth to strengthen tooth enamel.
We also educate our patients and their parents about the value of daily oral care. At your appointment, our team can give you age-specific advice about how to care for your child’s teeth at home!
At Expedition Pediatric Dentistry, we focus on making each patient’s visit as positive and fun as possible! Positive dental experiences from a young age will help kids establish good oral health habits early and maintain them through adulthood. Our office is not stiff or formal. We have designed it to feel warm and welcoming! Our lobby has an engaging play area full of books and toys that kids can enjoy before their appointment or while waiting for their siblings. We also have tablets with entertaining, appropriate games. During your child’s treatment, they can get cozy with a blanket and watch their favorite TV show.
Scientific evidence shows that oral health is strongly connected with overall health. A healthier smile will contribute to a significantly improved quality of life for your child! At Expedition Pediatric Dentistry, we take a total-wellness approach with our patients and personalize every encounter to accommodate the unique dental, emotional, and physical needs of each individual child. We also consider the financial concerns of our patients’ families to provide infants, children, and teens with the dental treatments and resources they need to have a healthy smile.
