Dr. Megan Miller

““I sometimes say that I wake up in the morning thinking about pediatric dentistry and go to bed at night thinking about pediatric dentistry. I really am just obsessed with my profession and can’t believe I’m so privileged to be able to serve children in a vocation that is so interesting and engaging.”

Love at First Wiggly Tooth

On the way home from the dentist in second grade, Dr. Miller told her mom she thought teeth were really interesting. Ever since, she’s discovered her love for little teeth and the little ones they belong to. That’s what made choosing pediatric dentistry so easy.

Meet the Team

Aarushi
Junior Ranger

Aarushi is our junior ranger who is on her own journey to become a dentist. Our dental campground can sometimes seem a bit scary, but don't worry! Aarushi is like a friendly park ranger for the mouth who helps to keep the wild bacteria under control. She'll teach you all about protecting your teeth and keeping your smile healthy and strong just like the trees we see on our hikes. When Aarushi is not studying Biology and Chemistry at Seattle University or helping on an expedition, you will find her listening to Taylor Swift and honing her photography and videography skills.

McKenzie
Lead Dental Assistant

McKenzie is our lead dental assistant - think of her as your expedition guide! She's an expert at navigating the tricky terrain of teeth. Ranger McKenzie will be your trusted companion every step of the way- she'll take pictures of your teeth, make them sparkly clean, and help you pick out a treasure to take home. She'll make sure you're prepared for each new challenge, whether it's crossing the floss-bridge or climbing brush-mountain. She'll help you earn your spot on the "Narwhal of Fame" and send you home feeling like an expert dental explorer. McKenzie, who grew up in Gig Harbor, is enjoying adventuring with her family’s littlest fearless wanderer, Omari!

Stephanie
Navigator and Patient Care Coordinator

Stephanie is our navigator and patient care coordinator. She maps out our day and keeps us on track. You'll find her at the Ranger Station when you check in for your appointment and on the phone when you call about appointments or insurance. Stephanie has a knack for organization and an eye for detail. Like Dr. Miller, she ventured to Washington all the way from Texas and loves exploring our state filled with mountains and trees. You might literally run in to Stephanie when you are out and about on the Eastside especially if you frequent Orangetheory. She’s there almost every single morning!

“Dr Miller made sure I knew exactly what to do for the stretches that need to be performed during the healing process. She definitely is the best and has a true passion for what she does, you can just tell how much she absolutely loves kiddos. Plus, her office is honestly the cutest you will probably ever see!! Thank you so much Dr Miller!!!”

Abby L.

“I recently switched both my sons' dental care to Expedition Pediatric Dentistry and am so happy I did. Dr. Miller and the rest of the team are great. My son has sensory processing challenges and everyone was so patient with him when it took him awhile to get comfortable with certain aspects of the dental exam. I never felt rushed or pressured, it was a great experience.”

Annie P.

“Very easy to schedule. Dr Miller and her team are friendly and caring. The setup and experience is very unique that we’ve never seen in other dental office. My younger daughter was so impressed that she asked to see the dentist again the day after :D”

Lan T.

“We had such a great experience at Expedition Pediatric Dentistry! My daughter can have stranger anxiety in new situations. Dr. Miller handled that so well! She was patient and played with my daughter until she was feeling comfortable enough to get a look at her teeth. We will be back for further appointments!"
